On-Campus Placement Drive at Santosh College of Occupational Therapy
On 1st May 2023, a placement drive was conducted at Santosh College of Occupational Therapy, which is collaborated with Gangaram Hospital. The drive was organized to provide job opportunities for the students who were about to complete their studies in occupational therapy. A total of 20 students participated in the drive.
The placement drive started with a brief introduction of the participating companies and the job profiles they were offering. The companies that participated in the drive were some of the leading hospitals and healthcare organizations in the region. They were looking for candidates who could work as occupational therapists and contribute to their organizations' growth and success.
The students who participated in the drive went through a series of selection rounds, which included a written test, a group discussion, and a personal interview. The selection process was conducted in a fair and transparent manner, and the students were evaluated based on their knowledge, skills, and overall performance.
At the end of the selection process, 10 students were offered appointment letters by the participating companies. These students had performed exceptionally well in all the selection rounds and were deemed fit for the job profiles offered by the companies. The students who received the appointment letters were delighted and expressed their gratitude to the college and the participating companies.
The remaining 10 students were placed on the standby list, which meant that they would be considered for the job openings if the selected candidates were unable to take up the job offers. The standby students were also appreciative of the opportunity provided to them and thanked the college and the companies for considering them for the job profiles.
In conclusion, the placement drive at Santosh College of Occupational Therapy was a success, and it provided job opportunities to 10 deserving candidates. The drive not only helped the students secure jobs but also helped the participating companies find skilled and competent occupational therapists. The college is proud of its students' achievements and wishes them success in their future endeavors.
