Overview


The Master of Science in Anatomy, commonly referred to as MSc Anatomy, is a rigorous and specialized postgraduate degree program with a duration of two year. This program provides students with an in-depth understanding of various anatomical concepts, including research methodology and teaching skills essential for medical students. Students can choose to study a range of subjects, such as gross anatomy, comparative anatomy, microscopic anatomy, developmental anatomy, and neuroanatomy, among others.

MSc Anatomy offers comprehensive theoretical and practical training in anatomy that enables students to develop a deep understanding of the human body's structure, function, and physiology. • To prepare the postgraduate student to become an exemplary anatomist with good theoretical knowledge and practical skills.

• Students should be able to use integrate anatomical knowledge with other disciplines such as physiology, pathology, and radiology.

Eligibility Criteria


A student must have passed BSc with minimum one subject of biological science /BAMS/MBBS/BPT/B. Pharma or any other equivalent graduation from a recognized university. BSc graduate with physics and chemistry optional could be considered for admission to this course if seats are left.

 

Course Duration: The duration of the study for M.Sc. Medical Anatomy will be of six semesters spread over three years.
