World TB Day Observed at Santosh Medical College
On 28th March 2025, Santosh College of Lab Technology, in collaboration with the Microbiology Department, Santosh Medical College, Ghaziabad, organized a vibrant and informative event to observe World TB Day. Held at the Microbiology Department on the 3rd floor, the program aimed to raise awareness about Tuberculosis (TB) — focusing on its diagnosis, treatment, prevention, and elimination efforts.
The event saw enthusiastic participation from faculty members and 81 students, including PG (MD), M.Sc., and UG (BMLS/BOMM) students. Activities included a quiz, rangoli making, poster presentation, and an awareness session conducted by Dr. Geeta Gupta and Dr. Ashutosh Rawat. The creative displays were lauded by Dr. Dakshina (IQAC Director) and various department HODs.
The event concluded with a prize distribution ceremony and reinforced the commitment to conduct more such awareness drives in the future — both on and off campus.
