World Optometry Day 2025
The Department of Optometry (Ophthalmology) at Santosh Hospital celebrated World Optometry Day 2025 on March 25, 2025, under the theme "Advancing Optometry for a Brighter Future." Held at LT-2, the event brought together 102 participants, including internal and external faculty and students. The program aimed to raise awareness about eye health and promote learning, research, and community outreach in optometry. Highlights included an inauguration ceremony led by the Dean and a guest lecture by Mr. Ram Saraswat. The event successfully educated attendees on recent advancements in the field, with plans for future hands-on clinical workshops and monthly guest lectures.
