World Environment Day
On 5th June 2025, Santosh Deemed to be University celebrated World Environment Day with the theme "Ending Global Plastic Pollution", organized by the IQAC. Held at LT-2, the event aimed to spread awareness on the harmful effects of plastic pollution and promote sustainable practices among students and faculty.
The event featured various engaging competitions, including art, photography, and videography, with enthusiastic participation from students across departments like MHA, MBBS, M.Sc. Psychology, BMRIT, and BDS. Creative presentations and inter-departmental collaboration highlighted the university's commitment to environmental responsibility.
Participants praised the event’s informative and interactive nature. Valuable suggestions such as organizing clean-up drives and hands-on workshops were received. The initiative successfully raised awareness, fostered creativity, and paved the way for future eco-friendly activities on campus.
