Santosh College of Nursing Observes Lamplighting Ceremony for GNM and BSc Batch 22
On November 1, 2025, at 11 a.m., the GNM and BSC Nursing Batch 22nd had a lamp lighting and oath-taking ceremony. The program's dignitaries included Vice Chancellor Dr. V.P. Mahalakshmi, Chief Guest Dr. Bimla Kapoor, Chairperson-Review Committee Development of Nursing Services MOH & Family Welfare, Director of Administration Dr.V.P. Gupta, Registrar Dr. Ezhilrajan, Dean Academics Dr. Shalabh Gupta, and Dean AHS Dr. Moattar Rizvi. The program began with a procession, a prayer song, the dignitaries lighting the students' candles, the dignitaries lighting the students' lamps, an oath, a dedication song by the students, and the candles being replaced. The address of Chief Guest Dr. Bimla Kapoor, Chairperson-Review Committee Development of Nursing Services MOH Family Welfare, improved the students' experience. Other dignitaries, including VC Ma'am, Registrar Sir, and Dean Academics Sir, gave light to the program with their valuable speeches. Prof.Ms. Rajeshwari Jeyaraj, Principal, Santosh College of Nursing, presented the annual report, which included a summary of all activities carried out during the academic year 2024-2025. At 1pm, the program closed with the National Anthem.
