Guest Lecture on “Myopia Control Strategies”
Santosh Medical College & Hospital, Department of Ophthalmology organized a Guest Lecture on “Myopia Control Strategies” on 29th July 2025 at LT-2, 2nd Floor, Santosh Hospital, Ghaziabad. The session was delivered by Mr. Amit Gupta, Senior Manager – Operations, Reliance Vision Express, Delhi-NCR, who shared valuable insights on the rising prevalence of myopia among school children and its management. He discussed evidence-based interventions such as orthokeratology, low-dose atropine therapy, and multifocal lenses. The lecture was attended by the Head of Department, course coordinators, postgraduate students, MBBS students, and B.Optometry students. The session concluded with an interactive Q&A, leaving students enriched with practical knowledge and updated strategies.
