Emerging Technologies in Radiology: Image Processing Software and Artificial Intelligence Applications
The Department of Radio-diagnosis (MIT), Santosh Hospital, Ghaziabad, organized a workshop on “Emerging Technologies in Radiology: Image Processing Software and Artificial Intelligence Applications” on 11th July 2025. With 127 participants including faculty and students, the program aimed to bridge the gap between traditional and modern imaging techniques. Hands-on sessions covered DICOM, MONAI, BrainSuite 23a, DSI Studio, and 3D Slicer, offering practical exposure to image processing and AI-powered diagnostic tools. The workshop enhanced participants’ research and clinical skills, highlighting AI’s role in improving diagnostic accuracy. Future plans include a conference on AI innovations in radiology.
