Cataract Awareness Program
On 24th June 2025, the Department of Ophthalmology at Santosh Hospital, Ghaziabad, organized a Cataract Awareness Program under the guidance of Dr. Sarita Aggarwal, Professor and HOD. The session aimed to raise awareness about cataract as a leading cause of preventable blindness and to educate the community on symptoms, risk factors, and modern treatment options.
The program featured an informative talk by Dr. Aggarwal, followed by an interactive Q&A session. Patients and caregivers actively participated, gaining valuable insights into cataract care and surgery. The initiative was well-received and successfully emphasized the importance of early detection and timely intervention.
