Industrial Visit to Patanjali Herb & Spices Park, Haridwar

The Department of Clinical Nutrition & Dietetics, Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, Santosh Deemed to be University, organized an industrial visit to Patanjali Herb & Spices Park, Haridwar, on 21st May 2026 to provide students with practical exposure to large-scale food processing and herbal product manufacturing.

During the visit, students gained firsthand insights into various stages of industrial operations, including raw material procurement, processing, quality assurance, packaging, storage, and hygiene management. Industry experts shared valuable knowledge on modern manufacturing practices, quality control standards, and emerging opportunities within the food and herbal product sectors.

The visit served as an important platform for experiential learning, enabling students to bridge the gap between classroom knowledge and real-world industry practices. The initiative reflects Santosh Deemed to be University's commitment to industry-oriented education, skill development, and preparing students for successful careers in nutrition, food technology, and allied health sciences.
