ADMISSION
SANTOSH FACULTY OF ALLIED HEALTH SCIENCES

Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University

Overview

Radiology & Imaging Technology encompasses structured learning pathways across Diploma, Undergraduate, and Postgraduate levels, designed to develop technical competence and clinical accountability through a clearly defined progression that integrates contemporary imaging technologies with structured clinical exposure to ensure safe, eective, and outcome-focused healthcare practice. The educational framework balances academic rigor with hands-on experience, enabling the consistent application of knowledge within real clinical environments. Continuous engagement with modern diagnostic settings supports the development of precision, professional responsibility, and adherence to clinical standards essential for quality patient care.

Strong emphasis is placed on quality assurance, patient safety, and ethical practice while remaining responsive to rapid technological advancements in diagnostic services. Alignment with international healthcare standards and workforce expectations ensures relevance across diverse healthcare systems. The programs prepare graduates to function confidently within hospitals, diagnostic centres, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams, contributing meaningfully to clinical outcomes, service eciency, and the evolving demands of global healthcare environments.

SCOPE :

Radiographers perform procedures such as mamming rating, MRI, CT- Scan, interventional Radiology  etc. They are popularly hired across nursing homes, doctor's facilities, hospitals, diagnostic centers, and super-specialty healing centers, government sector.
